Biography
Sofia Brites Pires is an Associate Attorney at ATMJ – Sociedade de Advogados, where she has practiced since 2017. She earned her Law degree from the University of Lisbon School of Law in 2016. During her academic career, she also attended the Course on Medical Law and Legal Medicine, organized by ELSA at the Catholic University of Portugal in Lisbon. She began her professional journey during her academic training with experience in legal environments, specifically at a solicitors' and enforcement agents' firm, with particular focus on enforcement proceedings. Subsequently, she worked at an enforcement agent's office. In 2012, she also completed a summer internship at the pharmaceutical company Hovione, S.A. In August 2017, she joined ATMJ as a Trainee Lawyer, continuing her career at the firm and assuming her current role as an Associate Attorney in September 2019.
